While you guys are still digesting your turkeys (Happy belated Turkey Day!) or are making mad dashes scoring Black Friday deals or are simply still at work (it's a regular ol' Friday over her in Sweden) I'll just quickly share this simple holiday craft project with you. For those of you in Aby's workshop here's the how-to in pictures.
Remember the Easter bunting I made in March? This is the Christmas version of it.
So easy to make. This time I recycled used holiday cards and some craft paper…
… and simply snipped them into triangles and stitched them together on the sewing machine.
On Sunday we have Advent 1st over here. I'm heading out now to hang my exterior decorations. Have a good weekend and see you again on Monday!

I love love love the idea of the decoration! Simple but really wonderful! Thanks for showing! Maybe I’ll do one for myself for creating some christmas spirit…
By the way: the people start decorating their houses here, too. 😉 I didn’t yet and probably wait till sunday ‘though there won’t be much this year…
Oh Benita please adopt me during the holidays… I am so tired of all the stambytar-sadness going on here. No fun decorating for advent at all.
I think this is lovely and can’t wait to see what else you have planned.
We will start festivities tonight – I’m in the UK and we have our towns traditional christmas festival this evening. The close the main high street so it is pedestrians only and put up childrens fair rides and little stalls selling roast chestnuts and mulled wine. Am very excited 🙂
Consider yourself adopted!
I wanted to make a garland forever…I hope I manage to make one this year. Thanks for sharing this as an inspiration….
Thanks sweetie.
I love your bunting and the green throw, too! NICE! Thank goodness Advent starts tomorrow, I’ve been wanting to put up Christmas things and now I can!
Double A on the decoraing Anne, I am really glad I found your blog 🙂
Superfint julpynt!
