I rarely shop. I do go around the shops and check out what’s on offer and I do buy stuff I need or want but what I mean is I rarely just go into shops and stumble upon things that I immediately have to have. I usually just go “that’s cute/fun/useful” and then leave.
Not so this time. I had no intention to buy anything when I entered this shop but as soon as I saw Town I had to have it.
I love the glow in the windows from the four votive candles. I’ve lit it every night since I got it over a month ago. I also got a couple of more things in the same shop. Quite the shopaholic!

Cute! Very you! I really liked the apple with lid on page 36, and “Stilig” bokstød on page 59.
Wow.. what a great catalogue.
Their stuff reminds me of the products of a couple of Canadian companies called Torre & Tagus and Abbott, if you picked the best bits out of them both.
I really like the little [I assume tin] houses on page 19. All the red, white and grey on pages 12 and 14.
The console/sofa table on page 64, all the storage solotions.. and I love that print that looks like artichokes.. especially in the black.
Fabulous stuff.
How come you had never been to the store before ? is it new, or did you just never happen to see it ?
Jo xx
Oh and could you tell me Benita.. What is that large white apple featured in the photo on page 37 ? because it looks like it has a lid.
Great minds think alike.. ;o)

Oh very cute! It’s somehow Christmasy without being overly Christmasy. And that apple is a white version of the one you have, isn’t it?! I think I’ll have to pay a little visit to Village sometime soon.
It is a…hm what is the english term for it? Jar with lid? ;D
Yep!! But Jo, what is the english term for that item “stilig” – is it bookend?
I have been there before and liked it a lot but this season they just had better stuff than ever in my mind :). Or maybe I subconciously realized I didn’t have to consider a Mr’s opinion before shopping…
That apple on page 36 is a ceramic jar with a lid, like a cookie jar I guess.
I love the city-mix 🙂 and a white flower for adventstämning :)(transl. Holiday spirit)

What a great store! Can understand that you ditched your regular shopping habits – Town is really charming.
I love this shop! Do they have online shop too? Thank you!
Gorgeous! But I think it would look amazing next to the new blue wall.
I agree, but Mini and Bonus often walk on the sidetable there and I’m afraid they’ll get burnt if I place it there, hence the mantel spot.
Love it! Just looking at it makes me relaxed. Thanks Benita for the tips on indoor cats and plants. Have a nice day!
Very cool.
I love how much fun you are having buying whatever you want!
Benita, the scary room in my house is better now:

Town is a perfect compliment to your NYC poster! Cute!
Yep.. those are bookends… which actually can be really hard to find. I’m using glass paperweights more and more. They are much easier to find, and I do love a big lump of glass :o)

;P
I did wonder about that.. it just seemed a bit small for biscuits. You could use it for trinkets or jewellery I guess… anyway I like it.

lights up the city. perfect. LOVE that store! cheers kari
I checked but they don’t I’m afraid…
Love the town, I wish I could buy one for my home. It’s great to read your blog!
What a beautiful and simple village! As soon as I saw this I immediately thought of attempting to make something similar, maybe out of painted tins.
It’s one of a kind decor I saw ever. You found a good one and your also good in choosing that thing. It’s really hard in deciding and choosing something useful or nice without wasting money specially in home decors but that one was really worth buying for. It’s cute and thanks for sharing!
Love the NY poster. Where did you find it?
