I’m busy wrapping gifts and was lucky to have had some wrapping material sent to me by Panduro Hobby. Remember when I won their Concrete Challenge a little over a year ago?
Away Helene a Panduro Hobby got in touch to see whether I was interested in getting some craft materials sent every couple of months or so with no obligation to write about them and I said yes please.
Last week I got a big package in the mail and while it was all quite cute it was also quite traditional and I wasn’t really into the dark red thing this year but there were some real goodies in there as well.
I love the green ribbon. The perfect green ribbon I should add. Also love the tiny jingle bells and the gift tags.
And the bows, also in that perfect green. Those things all came in really handy.
I mixed what I got with what I already had so I used white paper and added little bits and bobs such as this wallpaper scrap and some coarse white string.
Thank you Helene, I look forward to the next package. I’m guessing it’s Valentine themed?
Have you guys started wrapping yet? Do you have a million gifts to wrap or just a few?
~

Voted, best of lucks now! I’m loving these little parcels and also the photos for the interesting composition. Pinning them :)!
Voted- I fell in love with Hus&Hem when I was in Sweden this summer, the two iussues I got are my fave home related mags even without speaking Swedish. I still flickr through their pages from time to time. Good luck!
I voted! Good luck!
I voted for your blog. I hope you win!
You have my vote – may the best blog…yours of course…win!
Hello Benita,
I’ve just voted for you of course. My favorite blog ever 🙂
Big kiss from Portugal
Monica
Voted! I really hope you win! 🙂
A few gifts are wrapped, but not in a special way this year. Ordinary christmas paper with trees, and some red shiny ribbons for the baby. (I think that is the most important thing for her) I have been at panduro in Borlänge but I didn’t buy anything, I was planning to come back later but now I don’t want to drive in this weather. Next year!
I will vote for you later, first my morning coffee…
(ursäkta engelskan, är inte van!)
Uuu, I must vote for you!
One question though. Where have you found white paper that you cannot see through? Or do you use two layers of paper? Or is it wallpaper?
Röstat! Så klart 🙂
Grattiskramar dessutom – vi är unga ännu!
Det går bra på svenska också 🙂
I do two layers 🙂
Än är jag ung. Imorgon destå äldre 🙂
oh, that’s exciting! i just had a moment of realisation that i have nothing to wrap gifts in! must hurry – xx
Voted for you, best of luck!
I’ve tried people. really I’ve tried, but after almost 2 years
“I AM NOT GONNA TAKE THIS ANYMORE”…I do not sort my sock draw, I do not sort my toilet rolls & even if I did I certainly would not share it with you…I’ve been to Stockholm in summer, it’s green. I’ve been to Stockholm in winter, it’s white & I am yet to meet or stay with some one who has no colour in their home or life…we’re all tarred with a bit of OCD but Benita wins…Just to put things in perspective I have also decided to not follow ATTIC 24 anymore but I would love to live where she does…
Merry Christmas from KAZZ in the Hunter Valley in Australia
PS Just to put things in perspective I have also deceided to not follow ATTIC 24 anymore but I would love to live where she does
What lovely wrapping! I especially love the one with the Woods wallpaper accent. Just voted for you, good luck!!
Well you’ve got my vote! Looks like you’re doing pretty well in the standings so far.
Is it your birthday tomorrow? If so, Happy Happy Happy!
…and just another little happy post to hopefully counteract any negative ones that may or may not have just popped up from others…
Love me some colorful – yes, colorful – Chez Larsson every weekday morning. If I run across other blogs that don’t tickle my fancy I simply don’t read them. That’s the great thing about free will!
It is 🙂
Hear hear!
Good luck – you have my vote!
Who let the crazies in this morning?
Oops. Blandade ihop din dag med syskonbarnbarnets… vilket innebär att jag missat kort till henne. Också. Bummer.
Men jag var tidig och inte sen i ditt fall. Mycket ovanligt! 🙂
You decided to share this with us instead? How odd. I think I would have preferred the sock drawer…
Voted – done! 🙂 Good luck!!!
Cheers, Angela
2nd place?! Could I vote more than once?!
LOL love your beautiful gift wrapping! I did mine yesterday and some of them are very similar to yours: plain green paper with gold ribbon wrapped at random and a gold rosette (exactly what you did, what a coincidence!) so I had to laugh!! This year I am using up all my wrapping papers that have collected over the years. I want to minimalise down to white tissue paper, brown paper and then keep the decorations to ribbons, tags and other bits and pieces I can use without buying more…
I love that you have a consistent theme in your wrapping. It surprises me that so few people do: l tend to use one paper/style in variations per person to keep an overview of what is under the tree and then my family starts frantically wrapping their gifts on the 24th and uses whatever they find, and gets all the system mixed up!!
I think it’s one vote per person :).
I also want to pare my gift wrap stash down so I used a lot of it when packing when we moved and I also constantly keep a roll in my hobby room to catch drips when I paint. I don’t have a daily newspaper and say no to junk mail so the old gift wrap comes in handy. I’ve also given a lot away and donated some. I had way too much! My goal is a fat roll of white paper + ribbons and tags in various colors. Much like you!
And how rude to mess up your Christmas system 🙂
Hello Benita, happy birthday for tomorrow, and thank you for providing a little oasis of calm and clarity throughout the year with your blog!
Do tell us – will Bonus be home for Christmas? I hope he is sticking close to home! Best wishes from Australia, Jane
I sure hope so!!! My mom arrives on Thursday and I hope that doesn’t freak him out. Not that she’s scary, but he’s such a wuss 🙂
Voted and you’re in the lead! I hope you win!
I love following your blog:)
Love your blog! I voted (at least I think so, being I do not speak swedish!). Happy birthday to a fellow December girl! 🙂
I’m hooked on your blog – not going anywhere. Thanks for blogging and happy birthday too! Voted for you and was pleased to do so. Good Luck and God bless.
I noticed when I voted you were ahead – hope it stays that way 🙂
I voted! You are ahead of them all…of course!! Love this blog!
just voted. Looks like your ahead!
Good luck just voted you re still ahead. Loved the international weather round up yesterday.
Happy to vote for you!
Wishing you a very Happy Birthday!
Done voting. Happy Birthday to youuuu!

Best wishes on the contest! I’d love to see what goodies were up for grabs. The packages are lovely. I really enjoy your blog. You’re my first visit each day! Merry Christmas.
Yeah, what an odd way to drop in here to wish everyone a happy Xmas 🙁
One more vote from Portugal! You deserve to win.
Happy Holydays!
Rosália
just voted! your blog is my all-time favorite so i hope you win! currently you’re in first place.
good luck! you deserve it!
That IS the perfect green! Lovely! Not as many gifts to wrap this year as in year’s past. As the kids get older their needs and tastes get more…expensive. So fewer gifts of greater value.
Yup, voted and you’re in the lead! Go, Chez Larsson! Woot! Woot!
Lovely green indeed! I like the consistency in wrapping. My post today is all about my gift wrapping as well 😉
Happy Birthday as well.
I voted (in Swedish!!) and you’re winning! Merry Christmas!!
Just voted. Thank you for sharing it all with us. God Jul. Wishing you and Wille a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Rackarns va snyggt det är med grönt !!!!
The wallpaper scrap you used is the pattern that is going up on our dining room accent wall in a few months. We have two samples pieces taped up there now. 🙂 It always gives me a thrill to see the pattern in unexpected places! Merry Christmas to Chez Larsson!
I placed my vote for you and you were in the lead. Hope this continues until the contest closes.
I like the packages tied with ribbon multiple times.
I voted, representing you all the way from the US of A! Love your blog and especially love your wrapping. 🙂 Hope you win that mystery prize!
Voted – looks good! Could you please say which wallpaper you used? Thanks for all the inspiration. Your blog is the first on my long list every day to check out. Happy holidays.
voted – hope you win!
Just beautiful! ( of course I voted for you:))
ditto! here i am all excited with my bargain buys and no wrapping paper. the wallpaper ‘accent’ is perfect for the white theme.
just finished voting. goodluck. i had looked into buying brown paper but i was shocked at how much it cost (AUS). my colors are white + red papers with green spotted ribbon. boring i know. but i did find some wooden tree decorations which i will use as gift tags.
I just voted again after I read that weird comment from somebody who is no doubt suffering from pre-Christmas stress. The site didn’t reject my vote so I hope you win. You’re on 43% – streets ahead!
Wiiiieee!
It’s Woods by Cole and Son http://www.cole-and-son.com/collection_detail.asp?CollectionID=13
Voted – for you obviously 😉 Do well in the competition.
Good luck!
I love your blog – so inspiring.
great wrapping idea. I love the simplicity and creativity.
